Inktober Challenge Days 15 - 21

 Inktober 21: Pomegranate

Inktober 21: Pomegranate

Work is getting even busier as we try to redefine, re-energise and reinvent the business before the end of the year. I have loads to share about the process (blind leading the blind?!) and what we’re learning, but that’s for another day. Meanwhile I’m pretty pleased to say that I’m still setting aside time every morning or afternoon to paint daily for Inktober. Here are the third week paintings and sketches in reverse order beginning with day 21, Pomegranate, above …

I’m well into the final weeks of daily art, and will post the next few in the coming couple of days. It’s interesting to see the variety of styles that I’m experimenting with emerge onto the blank paper, and am not quite sure of the direction in which I’m headed (which seems to apply to my life and work in general at the moment!) but I’m sure the way forward will get clear as I stumble along, paintbrush in hand.

The prompts are all either from the Inktober challenge class I’m taking over at Creativebug, taught by the inspiring illustrator Lisa Congdon (see the link below) or from @Inktober ... I do post these daily whenever possible, over at Instagram, so if you’d like to check in, please do take a peek at my Floating Lemons Art Instagram feed.

As always, the list of supplies I used is at the end of the post. Cheers.
