Making Marks

I'm no longer ever sure of what's going to emerge when I pick the brushes up and that's wonderful. Going with the flow and making marks and doodling happily in a strange, quirky world that my imagination is embracing with a quiet passion ... it's a new world and I'm immersing myself in it with delight.

Life seems to be full of shifts and changes lately, and I'm never quite sure of where I'll be or what will emerge, which is normally extremely difficult for the perfectionist within ... but that seems to be loosening up, and I'm feeling extraordinarily free -- as is the odd and different art that's singing its way onto the sketchbook pages. Whatever the destination, I am enjoying the journey. Cheers.
